Summer in Rokugan is in full swing, which means warm temperatures. Near Dark Edge Village, with its rolling plains, Lady Sun's light is particularly strong, as there is little in the way of shade beyond the buildings of the village. A small ocean of purple yurts stretch out to the northwest of the village, the temporary home of the Unicorn Clan and their guests at the largest event to grace Dark Edge Village in centuries.

Once the sun sets, the temperature drops quite a bit, resulting in a cool night made even cooler by the light breezes which constantly seem to be blowing across the open plains.
