Lion Poll: The Iron Chrysanthemum

The Empire at large has found itself trouble with just how to handle the return of Hantei XVI and the hundreds of spirit samurai who escaped Toshigoku as a result of the Phoenix tearing a hole in the spirit realms. Currently, the former Emperor and his troops are camped outside of Morikage Toshi, the Lion capital.
With no word from the throne as to what to do about the spirits or the Hantei, they Lion must make a choice!

Decided there wasn't that much choice for me in the end: Can't bow to the mad king, so let there be doom! Especially because that storyline would be absolutely stupendous for Takashi. Stupendous!

The current emperor is weak and him dying is potentially really nifty.
