Sarangerel was back in the stables. Kemuri had spent some time brushing the horse down and feeding him. Now, he was on his way to find his own dinner. A familiar face, however, caught his attention.

"Good evening, Tonbo-sama." he offered a bow.

Misa was standing by the animal pens, just smiling happily as she listened to the sheep. She seemed to be trying to pet them, but most kept wandering off.

She tilted her head a bit at the voice and turned, her smile remaining bright as she bowed in Kemuri's direction. "Shinjo-san! It is good to hear you again, it has been too long. Have your day's been blessed?"

"I believe so." he nodded. "How have your days been?"

It was a simple reply, but one Misa could appreciate for that reason. "I've been well Shinjo-san, arigato. I can't say I've made the greatest of impressions so far this miai, but I've enjoyed all the company I've met, even the only Matsu I met. Has Shinjo-san found many to relate to?"

"I have enjoyed meeting many of our guests and I always appreciate my kin." he answered. "You were one of the first I met and you certainly left an impression on me. I hope you've found what you were looking for."

A small smirk touched her lips. "What I was looking for? I suppose in a way you could say that, even as I found more things to find. I am the sort of woman that sees life and the path through it as having many branching paths, with as many questions and answers as grains of sand in a desert. I've certainly found many noble, honorable samurai among the Unicorn, since that is the reason for coming here though."

"I am pleased to hear that." he smiled. "When.we first met, it seemed like you were set on a specific course. You were here for your family, and little else. I hope the path you've followed will help the Tonbo and bring you happiness."

As he spoke, he moved. Climbing over the fence and approaching the sheep.

MIsa stayed where she was, but kept facing Kemuri as she could. "I am still here for my family, but I was always here for more. Life is too brief and ethereal to be so single minded, or so I believe. We will see if it will help the Tonbo in the end, but I pray steps here will."

"It was early in the miai when we spoke. I imagine we were both trying to understand things here."

He coaxed one of the sheep to follow him, offering some grass to draw him over to Misa.

"I apologize for making assumptions."

She gave a silent giggle into a sleeve, but couldn't hide the smile. "There's nothing to apologize for. I suppose I'm a bit complex of a woman, seeing as I've put a lot more thought into the spiritual realms, spirituality on this realm, finding peace and enlightenment within myself... all things that aren't as easy as just seeking a good marriage, or training with a weapon."

She held out a hand as she heard the sheep approach.

He brought the sheep right to her.

"Have you visited the sheep before?" he asked.

Misa nodded a little. "Ano... I've come close before. I never got this close, I didn't want to disturb them in case there were certain ways to handle them. Do I just hold my hand out like this?" She could tell the sheep was close, but she didn't dare do anything until she was told.

"Hai, you are almost there." he nodded. "They are docile. As long as you don't harm him, and I don't believe you would, he'll be content to stay here and eat the grass I'm feeding him."

Misa just nodded and reached out the last bit. Her cheeks flushed at the fluffy softness of the fluffy soft wool. "So fluffy and soft..."

He laughed. "Yes, he is. I am glad you approve."
