"There's lots of stories surrounding that wood." Fukawa agrees. "Especially compared to the much larger nearby Osari Mori. But while one might wonder how many of those stories are real, and how many the product of the imagination of bored storytellers, the Eye of the Needle does have a significantly larger animal population than one would expect."

Tomoe tapped her fan against her chin.

"Osari Mori... related to the the Osari Plains, then? I'm only familiar with it from the Battle at Osari Plains..."

Fukawa nods.

"Although if you were trying to find the Osari Mori, I wouldn't try navigating there by asking for the Osari Plains. Directions to the Osari Plains is likely to end you up at Kyuden Kakita. Osari Mori is on the southern edge of the plains, far from Kyuden Kakita. And at least once I've heard someone confuse it for the Akagi Mori, which is far up the coast."

Fukawa shrugs.

"Travelling across the Empire is difficult at times, from what I understand."
