[Isawa Nonin]

Nonin nods. "Their ways are most intriguing. I cannot wait to learn more about them. The dinner tonight should be quite fun."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi nodded.

"I am looking forward to it as well. Don't you think that their ways are still somewhat...foreign?"

[Isawa Nonin]

"Yes, but that is all for the good. It will give us something to judge our ways against," says Nonin. "Stasis is dangerous, even for a proper society like ours."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Stasis is dangerous as is certain integrations. It would be wise to be wary of what we decide to expose ourselves to."

[Isawa Nonin]

"We must trust to the wisdom of Shinjo's children," says Nonin. "The blood of the kami still guide them as do her oaths to the Hantei, blessed be their rule."

"Their ways be be strange but I do not think there is any deliberate harm in them. The Unicorn wish to be part of the Empire, it is their home however ong they have been away."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

It was a debatable matter but one that Suteichi was not going to indulge in, at least not on the first day. The Bayushi Courtier nodded and shifted the topic.

"So Isawa-sama, who would you choose or rather what type would be your ideal match?"

[Isawa Nonin]

"That is a fraught question, Bayushi-san," replies Nonin. "I barely know myself, it is hard to know what to look for in a wife . . . beyond a talent for speaking with the kami. My family expect such."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Hmm.. It would be best perhaps to start pondering that. I am sure the Miai will have many to choose from and you want to make the right choice."

[Isawa Nonin]

"Indeed," agreed Nonin. "I cannot wait to talk more with the Unicorn. They are just so fascinating."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"That they are... that they are. We will learn much from them as I am sure they will learn much from us."

[Isawa Nonin]

The Phoenix nods. "It will be a learning experience for all."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Well, I would hate to take up too much more of your time. Perhaps I could learn from you sometime about animals."
