[D3 EE] Rabbit Hunting

Chi-Pu wanders through the sea of yurts set up in the Northern section of the village.

"Rabbit-san!"

She yells out as she walks.

"Rabbit-san, I must speak with you! It is urgent!"

She continues to walk, looking for any sign of the Usagi.

Khulun was not in such a rush but there was a determined look in her eyes as she worked her way looking for the yurt of Rabbit-sensei. Oguro saunters between the rows of yurts before she spies Otaku-nikutai.

She pauses to see what the fuss is all about.

Tortoise in hand, the rabbit peeked out from her tent as she heard the call for a rabbit.

"Otaku-sama?" She waved a little and stepped out to bow. "... Is something wrong?"

I'm not sure I'm even in the right part of the camp.. which section was this again?

Really, as much as everyone was mingling, possibly to avoid their fur 'yurts', the sections blended together more than the usual setups for these things.

The appearance of Chi-Pu walking through while calling for a Hare about something urgent was enough to draw his attention from whatever it was he was doing, though he wasn't sure if this was a private urgency or an urgent urgency, or.. huh.

...probably better just ask...

..which was just on cue for an Usagi to appear!

So instead he just paused in place for the moment, curious just what this was about.

Chi-Pu marches up to the Yurt and bows briskly.

"Yes, something is very much wrong. You and the Sahir left out some very important details yesterday morning, and I must discuss them with you now. It is most urgent!"

Her voice is not hushed, any who chose could easily hear her.

Khulun pushes forward dismounts and says, "Otaku-nikutai, Rabbit-sensei.... and samurai."

Well, he couldn't exactly ignore a direct mention like that!

He gave a swift bow of his own to the others present. "Minna-sama."

"Was there another incident? What was missed?"

Chi-Pu turns and bows to Kaiya and then nods at Khulun, giving her a questioning look.

"Well.. It seems all who I could speak to are here. Is there somewhere you would like to talk, or is out here fine?"

She asks Tomoe. Her voice is back a usual conversation tone and volume, though her eyebrows show she is quite frustrated.

Khulun nods to the Otaku but waits for the Rabbit to respond.

Tomoe looked a little... surprised at the suddenness of it all, but perhaps it was best to take this somewhere private.

"Ah... may I offer you the hospitality of my tent then, and we can speak of what is on your mind?" she gestured to the yurt for all three, giving bows of acknowledgement to them.

Before the woman could stand from her last bow, Chi-Pu had walked directly into the tent, waiting for the rest to follow.

Khulun nods and enters the yurt as she says, "Thank you, Rabbit-sensei."

Inside the yurt, the rabbit had made her nest out of... scrolls and books?

Sure, there were some neatly folded clothing on top of the furs as well, but everything else seemed to be dominated by a huge amount of journals and scrolls. Some were stacked orderly to the side, while several were open on the table next to her writing materials and an open journal she had been writing in. Near the entrance she kept a satchel that smelled of medicine and balms, and in the corner was an unstrung shamisen.

Tomoe placed the tortoise down on the open journal. "I apologise for the disarray, I wasn't expecting visitors, minna-sama. How can I be of assistance to you?"

“Otaku-nikutai was here first, my questions can wait,” Khulun says. She looks at the scrolls and papers and somewhere in a distant future life echoes the word NERD.

For now she crouches and prods a finger at the turtle shell.

“Is this a pet?” she asks.

When everyone had stepped inside, Chi-Pu turns to them all and lets out a huff and begins speaking in a hushed voice, but very rapid.

"I do not intend to be rude. I know now this is a subject that is not spoken of in polite company, but it must be addressed."

"First!"

She points to Kaiya.

"Why did you not tell us there are evil Kami? The Iuchi have never heard them before. Now that we are back, what if they think they hear the good ones but it is the bad?! This information must not be kept from us!"

"Second,"

She points to Tomoe

"You did not say that this Oni was a servant of the Fallen Brother, or that the Rabbit were created to fight such things. This is important! Also, that jade, or magical weapons..."

She points to Khulun's sword

"must be used to hurt it! Again, these are valuable things we must know!"

She lets out another sigh and gathers herself, her speech slowing to a normal pace.
