The Bayushi Courtier was rather proud of himself after the archery competition. He was in his yurt still mimicking the moves of the weapon. He was liking it as much as he did the knife. He chuckled to himself and began brewing some tea. He waited for his guest by sitting down on some pillows and reading the words of The Most Interesting Man In Rokugan, Bayushi Sasuke.

Kogo arrived to Bayushi-san's tent, unsure if she should be disappointed or elated at her performance in the event. However, she was glad to be here, for a change of pace and some relaxing conversation, relative to the rest of the miai.

She arrives at the door and called quietly, "Bayushi-san?"

"Welcome, Matsu-san. Please come in. Hello Noboru." Suteichi greeted. "Please have a seat. I just put on tea. Have you had your rice today?"

She enters, pushing the door aside for Noburu's entrance. Noburu flops near the entrance, already feeling the afternoon heat. "I have. Thank you for your hospitality. Have you had your rice as well? I will not lie, I am looking forward to a cup of your tea. Though the Unicorn servants are excellent, the tea is sometimes a bit cold by the time I get to it."

Suteichi nodded.

"Yes. I had breakfast with my sempai. The servants are fine for the most part. I have Shiba's Sunset blend steeping at the moment. Some daifuku?" he asked offering her a plate of the sweets.

She nodded gratefully. "Yes, please. And that sounds lovely. They are, most assuredly. And I am grateful for their late hours, especially last night. I am embarrassed to say I forgot to pack my own."

"It is good to bring a social delicacy to a social event. Helps you to win over people. Speaking of winning, how goes your choice in suitors?"

"You are correct as always Bayushi-san. But this one is occasionally still forgetful of the social graces." She ponders for a moment. "So far the chances seem auspicious. I was not expecting to receive much attention, but I did not understand how important power and strength were to the Unicorn. So far, I have spent time with Shinjo Monkhbataar, Shinjo Akil and Shinjo Taichi and enjoyed myself with all three for different reasons. Shinjo Monkhbataar and I also played Go yesterday evening and enjoyed ourselves, despite occasional...misunderstandings."

"Humph!" he stated with a smirk as he walked to get the tea. He brought it over and served her first.

"I have met Shinjo Akil. He is quite an individual. Hopefully he will play with us tomorrow evening for the music and dance event."

"Arigatou, Bayushi-san. I did not know that he played an instrument! When is the event? Perhaps I can attend."

"Tomorrow at the Dueling fields during the early evening hours. You did not learn he plays an instrument?"

Kogo looks slightly defensive. "We were speaking of horses, riding and his travels. Instruments didn't really come up."

She's a Matsu not a Bayushi...I have to remember that

"Fair enough. Tell me of this...Monktapper, Monkhabitatar... *sigh* The one you played Go with."

She laughs a little to herself. "He is....as mischevious as Noburu, in his own way. Daring, playful." Her eyes go somber for a moment. "Occasionally too playful. I had to set him down once."

"Oh?!" he replied with a raises eyebrow.
