Dark Edge Village

Yuuru came back to his yurt from the feast and put his belongings down. It was an interesting evening.... that much was certain. There seemed to be a multitude of interesting people here, but Yuuru tended to be a bit more introspective than most. He pulled out his shakuhachi from his belongings and walked out a short distance where there was a small fire going among the tents. He began to somewhat skillfully play a relatively peaceful tune as he looked into the fire intently.

Making her way back toward her tent Liu Fei ended up near a fire and a Scorpion playing a flute, which was to say she was just a bit off course or perhaps she was just taking the long route home. Regardless she had followed the sound of music here, deciding to be the curious sort tonight, and sat herself across from Yuuru at the fire.

Not interrupting the song at all more than merely appearing and joining his audience, which as far as she knew included the fire he so intently stared at and herself.

The tiny Moshi had returned to her Yurt and heard the flute playing and had this feeling that she should join. She took her flute out and settled next to the fire. She was still a little ill from the food but the soothing music helped her ease some of the Yodotai stab in her gut (Metaphoracly speaking).

She waited for the Scorpion to finish his performance. Asakiko gave the Soshi an applause when he ended.

Yuuru nodded his head politely in gratitude of the audience once he finished.

"Thank you. I hope it didn't bother you too much."

"You would have known if it did," she answered honestly. Liu Fei hid it well but there were still a few signs in her demeanor that suggested the truth of just how much alcohol she imbibed at the dinner they had all likely just walked from.

He chuckled, "I have been told that the Unicorn are forthright. I take it you somewhat enjoyed the music... perhaps as much as you seem to have enjoyed the feast."

The small Moshi smiled. "Indeed your music was lovely Scorpion sama." She nodded. "If I would like to do a duet if you don't mind." Maybe I can sooth the Yodotai in my gut!

Yuuru nodded, "That would be lovely Moshi-san. I am Soshi Yuuru by the way."

He bowed politely, "Do you also play the shakuhachi?"

"The shenobue, Scorpion Sama." She took out her flute. "This one is Moshi Asakiko. "

Liu Fei was probably about snarky but then the Moshi took the moment to compliment the Soshi's performance and started talking about flutes. Despite summoning the willpower to walk from the feast without something in hand, knowing that it was the wisest choice, she was still starting to regret not having something more to drink.

Perhaps she stared a little but she was recalling the Soshi from before. Either way, it didn't change that while the two started on flutes she just sat there looking to the company of the fire.

He nodded briefly, "Do you mind another number Shinjo-san?"

"I won't interrupt," she said confidently in response until she saw the expression on their faces. Only after piecing it together did she realize.

"I will not protest if you wish to play your music."

"I hope it is of your liking Shinjo sama." The Moshi nodded. "Anything particular Soshi sama?"

"Whatever you'd like Moshi-san. I can follow along."

"hai" She placed the instrument in her lips and started to play
