[D7, LE] Fireside (Outside Mei's Yurt, Expecting)

[Miya Mei]

"What physical activites are they usually known for? Otaku-sama had mentioned fists...Do the Moto practice Juijutsu?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"A form of grappling." he nodded. "A display of weapon skill or athleticism could also be possible. Even more riding. After today, I really don't know."

[Miya Mei]

"I hope there is at least a few more events I fan place well in. Thus far I have failed to prove to the organizers I am worth anything for arriving so late."

Mei watches the fire and leans in close to Kemuri.

"If you thought you had one last night to live, what is the one thing you would want to do?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Spend it with you." he said without hesitation. "I enjoy our time together. As for the remaining events. I would like to place higher in them too. Then, I could secure my influence over my arrangements. Everything is still uncertain."

[Miya Mei]

Mei rests her head on Kemuri's shoulder and lets a smile grow on her face. She uses her hand farthest from the Shinjo to play with her hair, twirling it around a finger.

"Fate is a very fickle thing. I much prefer taking actions into my own hands, to be honest. Leaving our lives to be determined by outside forces.."

She trails off and then shrugs a little.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Very true." he agreed. "If fate is unkind to us, I am happy that it at least allowed us to meet."

He squeezed her hand affectionately. "But, I think fate will be kind and you'll show me the Empire."

[Miya Mei]

"And perhaps you will be able to beat me in a horse race someday. Though, I would be worried, Shinjo-san. Ti-Lu was not feeling well the other day. He is much swifter when at his best."

She nudges him a little with her shoulder and giggles.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Sarangerel may have been in a kind mood." he chuckled. "He does tend to look out for the little ones."

[Miya Mei]

Mei slaps the top of Kemuri's hand gently.

"Hey! We are not small! We're just...fun sized."

She looks him in the eyes and winks

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"And, adorable." he grinned. "Where should we go first, when we travel the Empire?"

[Miya Mei]

"Well, the very first place once we are married I want to travel to.."

Mei places her mouth right next to Kemuri's ear and whispers seductively

Again she giggles and rests her head back on his shoulder.

"But after that? I think I would like to return to the lands of the Crane for a while, show you the beauty of the gardens in Kyuden kakita and Kyuden Doji. From there perhaps through the lands of the Lion and into the Shinomen forest, maybe we could visit the city of the Naga together for the first time."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Doji Fukawa-sama told me about the gardens. They sound incredible." Kemuri nodded. "I was told about the Shinomen, too. I cannot imagine a forest so large."

[Miya Mei]

"All I have hears of is stories, but would love to see it. Perhaps the Mantis isles as well, though there is much more on the mainland Id want to see firsr."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"I'd like to see the capital, too." he added. "That would be something. You'll have to convince me, in regards to the Mantis. I'm still not sure I trust boats."

[Miya Mei]

"The Imperial City is breathtaking. I share your distrust of boats too, but the way the Mantis talk of the isles I feel I should at least see them once."

Mei closes her eyes and daydreams a little.

"While I have seen the Wall in person, I have never stood atop it either. I can only imagine what sights one seesx being so tall above everything"
