There was one she knew she had to pay a visit too before this miai was fully concluded. And Tomoe was in a rather cheerful mood after having spent most of the afternoon already with Dong-Ha, but he needed to pack and they had already promised to meet again later in the evening, so she found some time to check up on her friend.

"Yuuru-san?" Tomoe rapped on tent-flap of his yurt.

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru recognized the voice and replied, "Come in Tomoe."

[Usagi Tomoe]

Tomoe peeked her head in to first make sure he was decent, then stepped inside. "So... feeling a little better now?" She asked with some curiousity, since he had seemed to have been satisified with Khulun when he made his choice.

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled as he was crouched down packing his things, "It could've been worse I suppose. Could've been better... but could've been worse."

He turned to look at her, "Congrats on your arrangement. He's the one you wanted, no?"

[Usagi Tomoe]

"He's the one I wanted," she said with a nod, her smile growing fonder.

"... I'm sorry you couldn't have the one you wanted, but... Khulun-san is a good woman."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He nodded. "That she is. I've spoken with her once. She seemed straightforward and passionate."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"I hope the best for you then. If you can put up with someone like me, you'll manage her," Tomoe chuckled and sat herself down on one of the Unicorn's odd 'chairs'.

"How much do you know about her?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

"You know I would've more than 'put up' with you if I had been given the chance." He smiled.

"I know very little. She's kuge, but was commanded to marry out..."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"Is that so?" Tomoe hadn't heard about that, but she assumed the Unicorn had their reasons to decide such.

"... Hm, I see..." Not much then. "Come closer... there is something I need to tell you."

He did as instructed and came to be next to her.

Tomoe's face sobered up, clearly showing that this was a serious matter. Her voice lowered as she leaned forward.

"I recommend telling your family to keep an eye on her sword. It is made with... quite blasphemous techniques, the kind that both of our clans keep an eye out for. I do not think she understands the dangers of it, but if there is one thing I trust you, your Family, and your Clan with, it is to do what is right about this. Your mother is a shugenja, no? She should probably have a look at it... as I'm not quite certain about it myself."

[Soshi Yuuru]

"Where did you hear this from?" He asked, confused."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"She showed me the sword one of the first days here... I've never seen such a weapon in real life before, but I have read about such corrupted nemuranai. My suspicions were further confirmed later."

Oh, right, Yuuru probably didn't know about the Oni that appeared during the miai.

"This I'm telling you in utmost confidentiality, as I trust you will not use this information to harm the Unicorn or cast shame over them. There was an Oni summoned here, during the miai... from what Fairuz-sama said, it had been called here by one of the Unicorn-shugenja, and it would seem out of ignorance rather than on purpose. I had to give Khulun-san and a few of the other Unicorn there a crash course in the corruption of the Ninth after that. Khulun-san's weapon was supposedly the only weapon to manage to hurt the creature before it was defeated."

"It could damage the creature but it is a corrupted weapon?"

Tomoe nodded. "From what I understand of such weapons, it is possible."
