Yuuru sat outside his yurt in the common area of sorts and found a bit of shade beneath a tent flap. He leaned back and looked up to the sky with a smile on his lips.

Not this much sky in the forest... that's for sure.

The archery had not been as bad as it could have been for the little Matsu, so he wasn't in temper tantrum mode. Instead he'd decided to treat Neko to some fish . . . if he could find the little furry critter.

Thinking he'd seen a streak of grey fur to the West, he was prowling the yurts looking for the errant kitty.

Yuuru looked down from the sky as he heard a person walking near. Seeing the smallish Matsu he nodded a greeting coolly.

Oh, the Soshi from the opening banquet with almost the same name . . . Yuuru! That was it.

He stopped and bowed.

"Good Afternoon, Soshi-san. You haven't seen a silver grey cat about have you? About this big."

He held his hands apart to Neko's approximate size.

Yuuru smiled slightly, "I'm afraid not Matsu-san."

Thankfully...

He then looked around, "You brought your cat with you?"

"Yes. I usually leave him behind when the army deploys, but as this was more. . . . of a social affair I thought i'd bring him along."

He's better with girls than I am for a start.

"Of course the moment I get here he's off exploring. Comes back when he's hungry usually."

He stopped, hands on hips.

"Usually."

"Sounds like a fickle beast." He smiled. "You're welcome to wait here for him if you'd like."

Yurio knew the pointlessness of chasing a cat around. Especially one he hadn't actually seen for sure, only suspected was around. Therefore the offer to wait was accepted.

"Thank you, Soshi-san."

He sat in the sun for now, enjoying the warmth.

"So... how goes the miai? You were supposed to have a match with the Moto this morning right?" He asked with a friendly disposition.

"Yes. It was quite a lesson. Moto Butaj is an accomplished wrestler. He might even do well in sumai."

"So, he won there too?" Yuuru asked.

Yurio nodded and leaned back, arms propping him up behind him.

"Yup, threw me the first two times. He's a strong one."

"Well I'm glad I have a partner to share in that with... Didn't feel right letting that Mantis take credit for beating him after he was so worn out." Yuuru chuckled.

"Heh, that's why I didn't really want to take him last night. Better to face him fresh this morning. Next time I'll beat him though. He's strong but his technique still has flaws."

Yuuru nodded, "I'd like another go as well. Think I got the hang of what he is doing a bit more."

He looked at the other man with a slight smile, "So how goes the wife-hunting?"
