Tomonaga nodded. "Mmm, yeah, she put a lot of work into this. I'm glad that it's, uh, mostly going well." Feline disturbances aside. He was having some bad luck with cats lately.

"Whoa!" Tomonaga couldn't quite keep from drawing back as the warcat stretches impressively. His eyes were wide as he watched the powerful display of feline muscle. "Wow, she's incredible! How old is she?" For just a moment, his hand started to reach towards the warcat. Then, he remembered Yukarin and the (much smaller cat), and how little warning it had given before biting her. Carefully, he folded his hands behind his back.

As Kyra finishes her bow he smiles "Kyra-chan is three and a half, she and I went through Gempukku together last year shortly before our Champion's wedding. We did so well we were choosen to guard the doors outside Akodo-domo's feasting halls for the evening." he says this proudly.

Kogo searches through the bottles, looking around to see what others are drinking. After seeing a number of other Rokugani drinking what appears to be a similar vintage, she chooses it and fills two cups, offering one to Yogo-san.

She gulps this mystery drink.

Butaj is slightly confused by sudden departure of Asakiko but rolls with it and looks at the Bunny. "And do you like those Unicorn things you've already seen or experienced?"

"I do... I think I do. I may not be the best at them, but I'm trying to acclimate. And you, Moto-san? Have you been enjoying what you've seen of the other clans? Has anyone caught your interest?" she leans over and smiled a little.

While waiting for a drink from Mizuki, Butaj turns to Tsukimi and smiles, tilting his head and watching as she leans over. He wonders if it means she wants a kiss from Butaj or be hair-sniffed for a true greeting, but maybe not because they barely know each other and there are many people around. He remembers what Doji Fukawa had to say about tender physical contact in public.

"Oooh, Butaj has enjoyed many eastern things, food, drinks, art, love for wrestling. Butaj appreciates the fairness of women too, though some are quite young and frail at this pairing kurultai. What Butaj has found exasperating at times is the unwillingness to be honest with Butaj but he's learning that the Easterners hold things close to their chests." He rubs his stubble at the other question. "Butaj has met a few interesting maidens but he feels he won't be the one to pick his wife, but it will be the other way around. So it is more relevant what maidens are interested in Butaj. And this Butaj cannot honestly tell because neither has confessed her tender feelings to him."

"Did you have a chance to try the kumis at the Welcome Feast? I heard there is a sake that looks a bit like it: cloudy and white?" She sipped at the sake this time around, it still tasted nice if you didn't gulp it in one.

Imane walked with Daisuke over to the table of fish. As they walked she spotted Matsu Yurio and Moto Butaj who both received a little wave and polite smile. Butaj send to be surrounded by women and she was pleased for him.

"You say the Mantis chefs are the best at sea food? So they live by the ocean? I don't really know anything about the Navy's either Ichiro-san, I would like to meet the hostess at some point." She looked around before returning her gaze to Daisuke.

"I don't see her, but there are a lot of a tall people here. Perhaps you would kindly pick out some tasty seafood for us to try? I will think over my people's stories about the enemies we met on our travels. Lizard riders? Hmm..."

"I believe she's chatting with your cousin." He dipped his head in the direction of Butaj. "We can join them in a few moments f you like." As she asked him to pick pout a few dishes he nodded and began doing just that. Selecting a few he liked along with a few other popular ones.
