"I am still building bridges with the Unicorn but I have made friends with one of the Moshi and a nun," says Nonin.

"A nun?" Both of Hirase's brows rose. "Itinerant or is she in service to the Emerald Champion's shrine?"

[Isawa Nonin]

"Itinerant, from the Temple of Benten," answered Nonin.

[Shiba Kaizen]

Kaizen stiffens as he hears where the Nun was from. "That seems a natural choice for the Brotherhood..." he said in slightly less volume than he had spoken with earlier. He regained some composure, "I have spoken to one of the Iuchi priestesses. It seems the journey of the Ki-Rin has altered their way of beseeching the elements, though their purpose spiritually seems not to have changed. That is if my understanding is accurate, their accents and mixed usage of our language can make it difficult. With my own limited understanding of the elements I am somewhat out of my depth." He sipped his tea hoping his earlier outburst was forgotten.

"My own experience with one of the men of the Shinjo makes me think that, while the memory of our spirituality went with them, some of the practices did not." Carefully, he avoided any mention of magic, mindful of his promises to a few of his new friends. "They are eager to reclaim that part of their heritage from what I have observed, at least in most of the Families. The Moto seem the least spiritual so far, but then again, it wasn't a matter for much deep discussion."

Holding out his cup for more tea, he added, "They do all seem to love music, however. And they have some wonderful new things they brought back in that regard."

"Hai, they are a rather unique blend. Though perhaps blend may not be the best word. I could be wrong in my history but I do not think that Shintao had even been unified by the time of the departure of the then Ki-Rin. Rokugan itself has adopted new social mores since the Unicorn left that they would not know of." Yuki pointed out.
