Meushi can be seen hanging out just outside the dojo, standing around and being very bored and horse-like while Monkhbaatar is within the dojo already, doing some stretches and warming up. His daisho is on a rack to the side of the room and he is wearing only his hakama, his kimono folded nicely and set aside.

Kogo enters the dojo, obviously ready for something to improve this day. She sees Monkhbaatar and her heart lightens for a brief moment. "Konbanwa Monkh-san. How are you this evening?"

"I'm doing great Kogo-san," he replies slapping his bare chest. "Just getting warmed up a bit. Yourself?"

Kogo spends a brief moment staring at the bare chest, realizing she had not factored this into her plans. "Uhh, I will need to do some stretching, but that is all."
And some very fast thinking...

He wasn't expecting the same from her. But he figured with the warmer day he may as well be comfortable in the cooling evening. "Sounds good." He nods to her and continues his own.

She stretches and thinks quickly. She decides on shedding her armor merely and nothing else, just as she has before. As she streches, she watches Monkh-san out of the corner of her eye. He has a grace and a beauty she had not entirely appreciated before, being distracted by his playfulness. Shaking her head, she finishes her streches a little early, eager to get moving. "So, what would you prefer to start with?"

"You are the more skilled of us here. What is a good baseline for working with jiujutsu?" he asks, looking her over. One could easily assume he was doing more than sizing her up with the appreciative look in his eye.

Her ears tinge, but nothing too noticable at his watchful gaze. "Ano...When Matsu Nintoku-sama was teaching us, we began with grappling. Sizing each other up and then seeking to gain control over the grapple, but not seeking to intensely harm the other." Granted, I did not envision these difficulites with Tomoe...She was lovely, but not quite my type.

"That sounds good then," he says with a nod. "The extent of my knowledge of grappling is when I was younger and would wrestle with friends. So I'm basically starting from scratch."

And I...have never grappled with someone whose shirt was off...or who I wished were less clothed... Kogo shakes her head, clearing it. " Then we shall start at the beginning." She assumes a position in the center, taking a defensive stance. "Attempt what you have done before. We shall see what occurs."

The thought of him one time holding down one of his buddies and slapping him on the belly a few times turning it bright red entered his mind. "I'll... I guess there are some moves I'll have to avoid," he says with a chuckle.
With that he slowly approaches and, makes his way to the Matsu. He reaches out and takes hold of her arm in an apparent attempt to try and swing her around... it's not exactly what one would consider truly effective for a grapple... and she manages to slip her arm out of his hold quickly, making his efforts pretty useless.

She notes the beet red complexion and smiles. At least I am not the only one struggling a bit here. She slips through the grapple . "A good attempt. You almost had me there. Let us try again."
She shifts back into her defensive stance.

At some point, she will shift stances so let me know what your TN will be. For now, she'll do defense.

"Alright," he says, as he steps in to to take hold of her around the waist, before reaching blindly for one of her feet to trip her up. He's definitely not skilled with this though, and the Matsu would easily control him as he put himself very off balance by getting in this position.

She counters him easily, and puts him into a short lock when he throws himself off balance. She holds him there, without pain and asks, "Now what made it so easy for me to get you in this position?"

"My first thought is our difference in skills," he replies with a chuckle. "As for the specifics of the movements... I'm not entirely sure."
