[Togashi Udo]

"We change, yes."

"Some change comes naturally, I suppose. But are we the moon, ever changing, or the river, changing and yet the same?"

[Moto Khulun]

"Or the Sun traveling across the sky, still same sun but different place in sky," she replies.

[Togashi Udo]

Udo's smile grows across his face.

"I may be rubbing off on you."

[Moto Khulun]

She laughs loudly and says, “Is that how the Dragon flirt?”

[Togashi Udo]

Udo chuckles. "No, for the Dragon it is all in the eyes," he raises his eyebrows twice, and then laughs.

"Or maybe flirting is too much of the physical world for the Dragon, and we just expect you to know." He shrugs his shoulders. "The Dragon are a mystical people."

[Moto Khulun]

"The Dragon are good people, and good friends to the Unicorn," she says kindly.

"Has it always been so, that dragon are so mystical?"

[Togashi Udo]

"The Unicorn are friends worth having, Khulun-san."

Udo thinks for a bit. "Yes. We take after the Kami Togashi..." He thinks some more. "I will deny I said it if you ever repeat it," he says with a small smile, "but in some ways we might be like the Scorpion. Neither of us likes to say exactly what we mean. With Dragon, it is because we want you to do your own thinking. With Scorpion, it is because they don't want you to do your own thinking. Two sides of the same coin, I think."

[Moto Khulun]

That explained a great deal of things for Khulun and she smiles, “So you speak like riddles to make me think?”

“Udo already make me think, Udo is good man and good friend thus far. What do Dragon say about marriage and love, they must have different words from other clans for such things?”

[Togashi Udo]

"Yes. When you had a decision to make, it would be hubris to try to choose your path, but a friend still tries to help you do so."

"Marriage and love? Well, the Dragon usually do it for love, and the Togashi basically do it for love every time. This... this is a rare exception where that may not happen. Marriage is rare for the ise zumi, and participating in a miai even more so. The Unicorn, however, are worthy of rarity."

He thinks for a bit. "If I marry into the Unicorn, I may be allowed to continue as a monk or they may ask me to depart. If a Unicorn marries into the Dragon, they will be expected to join the Togashi... it is complex. But, there are exceptions to all rules, particularly in circumstances such as these."

"We also have interesting ideas about wrestling," he adds, a smile coming onto his face. "It generally shouldn't involve kissing."

[Moto Khulun]

She rubs her face in embarrassment, “Yes that was… not my best moment. So if you have bride they would become monk too?”

“They have to shave head?”

[Togashi Udo]

"If I did, they could become a monk, too. Many would want them to. I... find I don't care. Some others wouldn't. Regardless, I believe I could convince the Togashi of the value in letting our Unicorn friends keep their customs, so newly returned to the Empire.... but as I said earlier, I do not dwell on it. I try to be a boat on the river, going with the current. It is not as easy for others."

Udo looks up at the ceiling and thinks for a time. "I have thought about it, and you might look good with a shaved head," he says with another smile.

[Moto Khulun]

“It is not uncommon for some to shave their heads for battle,” she says with a nod.

“So are you saying you don’t like my hair as is?” she teases.

[Togashi Udo]

Udo is flustered for a moment, but pulls it back together.

"When we chased the wind, it was only your hair that truly caught it."

[Moto Khulun]

“Have you ever… had feelings for another before? I know you were... are monk but you are young man and samurai and such is normal, yes?” she asks candidly.

[Togashi Udo]

"For another besides myself, or another besides you?"
