(Day 7, LE) Hold Me... In a Headlock

[Matsu Kogo]

She chuckles, releasing him out of the position so that she can desmonstrate. "It is not so simple as skill." She uses her body to show as best she can the off balance position he had put himself in. "You threw yourself out of balance by attempting to go for my feet. It made the process easier. You had no weight to throw against mine and no leverage. All I had to do was hold." She reverts back to a defensive stance. "Try it again, but this time, try to see if you can find a flaw in my stance."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"Alright. I'll give it a try, " he replies with a grin. Taking a few seconds to observe, he comes in at her from the side, hugging her waist. With a quick adjustment he finds himself behind her arms around her with both hands holding her right wrist.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo blushes in her ears, struggling to remember this is just a match, which is probably part of what allows the Shinjo to catch hold of her wrist. Her ears burning, she drops down, attempting to use her weight to break the hold on her wrist and change his center of gravity.

Her movement pulled Monkh against her tightly, chest to back, as she worked a couple seconds to release his grip. It didn't take long for her to remove his grip from her wrist, but in that moment he also stepped between her legs with one of his and hooked it around an ankle, falling forward and causing them both to tumble to the ground in a mess. With him not holding a dominant position, it's safe to assume it was accidental.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo freezes, not sure what to do in this moment. Her face is totally red now, though some might think it from exertion. She rolls over to move off of him, but finds herself unexpectedly close to his face and body and slightly distracted by the fact.

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

He gives an embarrassed smile at the situation himself. "Sorry," He says, sitting up. "Still trying to get used to this. I'm apparently an expert in getting it wrong," he says with a wink.

[Matsu Kogo]

She sees his smile and tries to get it together. "No Shinjo-san. Do not worry. This is a usual part of the learning. Falling down that is. Not falling on top of each other." Kogo shuts up, desperately trying to stop her mouth. She sits back, looking at him for a long moment.

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"Yeah," he says with a nod. "I'm not unfamiliar with falling down. But I can think of worse ways to go about it." He says with a chuckle while making his way to his feet and offering a hand to help her up.

[Matsu Kogo]

She smiles and accepts the hand up, enjoying the way the Shinjo has of helping her relax into moments like this. "Thank you Monkh-san. Your grace is always appreciated." She stands next to him, a bit close but not too close. "Would you like to try again?"

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"Absolutely. I still have a great deal to learn. I'll do my best to not knock us over like that again though." He nods to her and gets back into a prepared stance.

[Matsu Kogo]

She moves back into defensive stance and indicates he should try again. "Do not worry Monkh-san. I will not take it amiss if you do so while you are learning." She smiles. "Perhaps when you have learned some more, then I may be curious as to the reasons."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"Oh?" He moves in once more looking for a proper way to get a good grip. "I suppose that would make sense to question motivations if I knew what I was doing and we ended up tumbling around on the floor. I guess for now I'll just have to enjoy the unintended but pleasant consequences of not knowing any better."

[Matsu Kogo]

She laughs, moving slightly to make it a bit harder for him. "Are all the Shinjo so honest? Or do I just have good luck?"

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"I think most of us prefer to be honest. We may not all be as forthcoming and unabashed about it like the Moto tend to be. But I tend towards that with my father's influence."

[Matsu Kogo]

She smiles and moves in for a more aggressive move, catching him around the waist and bearing him down to the ground. "There is something to be said for Moto ways, despite their...unconventional standards."
