[Seppun Hitako]

"A wise choice, I think. Have you spoken to those above the higher placed of you, to see if they are considering you?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Not for that specific purpose, but I have spoken with each of them and, now, yoirself." he nodded. "I hope my path to be with Miya-sama will be clear, but I will understand if someone feels they must choose me. It may be that they have no other viable option."

[Seppun Hitako]

"Well, in my case, you are lucky that there is still a pair of options. One unknown, one that may be poor, but is still a better option than this. So, be free from the concern I will choose you, then."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"I appreciate that, Seppun-sama." he dipped his head. "Whatever happens, I hope your choice brings you happiness."

[Seppun Hitako]

"I do not know about happiness, but I will avoid a choice that brings unhappiness, unless I see no other options. And as yet, I do have other options. So, the Fortune's will bring what the Fortune's will bring."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

He nodded. "With so many things being considered by everyone involved, only the Heavens may see it all clearly."

He offered an assortment of onigiri and there was water available.

"It's not much, Seppun-sama. Simple, but good."

[Seppun Hitako]

She nods, then takes a drink. "I suppose with all the traveling your clan seems to do, water is the most efficient method of refreshment. Hardly logical to bring along some tea, in a tea set, or fruit juice. This is good." She takes another sip.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"We have tea, or coffee, but not usually prepared as it is here in the Empire." he explained. "As a scout, however, this is my usual fare."

[Seppun Hitako]

"Coffee? I have heard of coffee, but never tried it. I don't suppose it might be possible to try it in the future?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"I know a supply was brought back, but I don't know how long it might last." he shrugged. "I don't know if it will grow here, either."

[Seppun Hitako]

"Have you tried it? And what sort of environment would it need to grow in?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"It's difficult to describe." he answered. "Like tea, it can vary. Bitter with a sweetness to it is how I think of it. But, it is an acquired taste. I have no idea how it is grown."

[Seppun Hitako]

"Ah. Bitter and sweet, at the same time. Now I really want to try it. And, do you know who to talk to about where to grow it? Or have enough to try in all sorts of different places?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

He shrugged. "I know a few brought back supplies of their own. I don't know if anyone brought any to be cultivated. Farming is not something the Unicorn have had much opportunity to do. If we do have a larger stock, the Ide would know."

[Seppun Hitako]

"Thank you. I will see what I can learn in that area then. I have met an Ide, who seemed willing to talk again, so, maybe things will go well."
