Dark Edge Village

Yuuru went out for his morning run a little later than usual. It had been a lovely night, and he had been in no rush to leave the yurt. The fields were wet and cool as the sun worked it's way higher into the skies. He found a stone that appeared to be a bit drier than the ground and pulled out his paper to make another map.

I hope the Unicorn like these...

After spending time in the morning at the shrine, Udo took a long walk around the village. He couldn't bring himself to go back into it yet, instead walking a large half-circle from east to west.

When he got to the west, he noticed a sole Scorpion and gave him a slight bow.

Yuuru nodded and smiled as the Dragon drew near, "Morning."

"Morning, Soshi-san." Udo couldn't quite bring himself to call it good.

Udo walks over toward the Scorpion. "What brings you out here?"

He looked out to the plains, "The scenery, and a bit of exercise. Yourself?"

"It seems like a day to be on the outside." Udo looks over toward where the orochi landed.

"Why is that?" He asked.

Udo looks at him with a bit of a scowl, assuming the Scorpion already knows the reason and just wants him to say it.

"Because of Chi-Pu's death."

Yuuru looked surprised, "There was a death? How? Why?"

Udo eyes the Scorpion skeptically.

"There was an attack last night." Udo points over to some odd divots in the far field and the bumps where the orochi fell. "You can see the signs of battle."

"That pond?" He asked.

"Was not there yesterday morning. It was created last night."

"This is a big place Togashi-san... I don't check on it every day..." He replied. "But it does seem suspect now that you mention it."

"One would think if you came for the scenery, you would have noticed how it looks."

Udo is quiet for a moment and then sighs. "Yes, it was an unfortunate night. When I awoke, people in the village were speaking of it so I left."

"Well... I guess I'll apologize for looking at the scenery in the wrong way then..." Yuuru looked up with a less than friendly look at the grumpy Togashi.
