Dark Edge Village

Fukawa headed out to the western fields with her burly puppy, Takahiro. She wasn't sure if any of the other successful trainers would find time in their schedules to come. While her schedule was only busy when she made it busy, others seemed to have no trouble filling up their days. Of course, there were some rumors about whom was filling up more than their days with each other...but it was a bunch of young samurai, some who were just past gempukku, some who were the first time away from their parents. She didn't know if anyone would come, but if no one did....


"Well, at least I have you, Takahiro. I don't care what the judges say, you were magnificent yesterday." she praises him.

Takahiro barks and chases his tail, playful as ever.

Mizuki and Zip, the dancing wonder, does appear. She bows the Crane as Zip goes after Takahiro to play. "Doji-san. It is good to see you again. Have you eaten rice today?"

Takahiro and Zip play, as the samurai begin their own game.

Fukawa bows to the Yogo.

"Ah, Yogo-sama, it's been a few days since we've talked last." she replied. "I have had rice today, have you?"

Moto Baatar rode up on a tall Unicorn steed. Stopping and dismounting, he set the horse to graze before approaching the others.

"Hello!" the young Unicorn said. "This must be the right place?"

And from a makeshift carrying sling, Baatar produced a small white puppy.

Fukawa greets the Moto as well, with a bow.

"Indeed it is Moto-san, it is good to see you. Have you had rice today?" she asks.

Though her attention was drawn to the Moto's sling which drew an

'Awwwwwww' from her.

"Hai. I have. Thank you for arranging this. It's for the puppies to be able play with the others." Seeing Bataar approach, Mizuki bows. "Moto-san, it is good to see you today."

Yue rode to the arranged meeting atop of her steed Hikazume. Seated on the saddle with her was Gon. The little puppy was surprisingly patient until his master gave the order to jump off. "Ohayou gozaimasu," she announced to everyone. Gon ran up to Mizuki, the human he recognized the most, and wagged his tail in anticipation for bacon.

Mizuki bows to Yue. "Yue-san. It is good to see you. Have you eaten rice today?" Mizuki scratches Gon behind the ears, but no bacon was given. Zip runs around catching up his old friends.

The tall Shinjo woman dismounted from her horse and let her roam for a bit. She returned the bow. "Hai. It is good to see you too." She looked back to Hikazume grazing across the field. "I recall now that I have not introduced you to my steed. She is Hikazume and I could not ask for a finer horse."

Hotaru was present at the gathering and brought Mamoru with her! Her chubby and furry Chow Chow bounded forward with his great mane. He didn't get very far from his owner, his protective instincts kicking in as he let out a few barks. Of course, Hotaru did her best to nudge him forward and play nice.

"She is beautiful." Mizuki leaves out the 'like her owner' she would have added if they were alone. "I can't imagine riding something so big."

"You can," Yue said with a smile. She looked to her horse and then back to the Yogo. "I am unsure if you want to learn how to ride at this moment but I would be honored to teach you."

"Some other time. I don't think Zip would sit as well as Gon did." Zip decided run back to Mizuki and dances. "Aww..." Mizuki gives him a treat she carried with her and any other puppy that races over.

The white puppy jumped out of the young Moto's arms and ran over to beg treats from Mizuki as well.

"Sorry," Baatar said, although he looked more amused than apologetic. "I've been training Gölöghime with treats, so she's very treat-oriented."

Fukawa bows at the addition of the Shinjo and the Bayushi.

Not too bad a turnout.



Takahime had a stick in his mouth, and was considering if any of the other dogs could take it from him. Sure'y not the small fluffy white one.
