Another Day, Another Drink [Day 8 EM]

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"Told you her husband was dead and you fell for it immediately," she said mostly to herself, shaking her head. Laughing lightly in her amusement over the whole thing. Taking another long drink until she made sure her cup was empty.

"So, tell me, have you ever seen her again after that?" she asked, glancing to him and raising a brow.

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

"Ugh. I knew I could count on you to rub it in." He didn't seem at all upset, instead grinning at her. "In my defense, well... she was hot. Like, really hot." He said. "It's quite possible that I'd have even believed her if her husband was actually there."

He sighed. "But no. I haven't seen her again. I actually don't spend too much time in Scorpion lands. My parents say I can't handle them. Which, well, that's fair enough." He looked thoughtful. "I suppose I could see about going there sometime... oh, right." He smiled. "I'm about to be married. Being newlywed is not the best time to go looking up old lovers, I suppose."

Fei buckled over and backwards against the ground she went. This time her cup had been empty and thus was in no danger of spilling when she dropped it in order to hold her sides with one hand and cover her mouth with the other as she turned a bit red from laughing so hard. When she settled down enough for him to continue she still chuckled now and again at funny little notes she found in his story.

Needless to say by the time he was done Fei's cheeks were sore.

"P-" she had to stop to settle a laugh a bit. "Probably not Tomonaga-san, at least wait a year before you go doing that kind of thing," she paused again. Pressing her hands to her cheeks in an attempt to stop them from being sore, it didn't work of course but it made her feel like it did.

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

Once again, Tomonaga had to bury his face in his arm as he, too, was overcome by laughter.

Recovering, he wiped his eyes with his kimono. "Oh, Fei-san. You're all right." He gave her a curious glance. "You know, I'm gonna miss these talks when this thing is over. Believe it or not, you're actually more talkative than some of my drinking buddies in the Crab. And definitely more fun."

He took a deep breath, still recovering a little. "If you do end up in the Scorpion... I don't go there very often, but if I do, I'll look you up. And if you ever find yourself in Yasuki lands, come find me, eh?"

[Usagi Tomoe]

He nodded, "Met them. One really didn't seem to like me, for when I asked her to sit and talk she refused and left on her horse... her sister is nice enough... but only has one arm, is scarred all over her body and said she would be a terrible person to raise children..."

"Oh... I think I've only met one of the sisters then, the one with both arms, but I saw you with the one-armed one in the dojo." Tomoe tapped her chin.

"Sometimes I wonder about some of these people the Unicorn sent to marry... some of them don't seem very suitable for marriage." Or public space.

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled, "Not much worse than I can say for my own kinsmen... You should have seen them... Dweebs."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"Oh? I can't say I've met all of them. So which ones of them are... err... dweebs, as you called them? Someone smarter than you, no doubt."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled, "One of the Soshi here ran into a bathing woman's yurt last night and tried to get into a fight with her over some shady meeting with a bad dude... almost turned to bloodshed."

[Usagi Tomoe]

Tomoe blinked. "... Are you sure he's not a Crab in disguise?"

"And... shady meeting with a bad dude? What's all this?"

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I will have to believe it, in fact, I have no reason not to," she cast him an amused smirk. Playing on the knowledge that most Unicorn, and certainly her, had no idea what to expect of most Crab. "I am going to miss them as well Tomonaga-san. I have not made many friends outside of my family, certainly not ones that tell me stories good enough to bring me to.. well, whatever that display just was," she laughed a little at herself at that.

Fei sighed, finally relaxing after her laughing fit, "Whoever I end up as, I will be a Unicorn at heart. Travel is in my nature. I am sure we will see one another again, I've traveled further in my life than the boundaries of this Empire," she said with certainty despite having no knowledge of how wide the Empire truly was.

[Soshi Yuuru]

"Super sekrit Scorpion stuff." He said with a smile.

"Not really... but it's probably best to let the Unicorn deal with it themselves... I'd hate to be spreading rumors from things I've heard rather than seen myself."

[Usagi Tomoe]

Tomoe's eyes narrowed.

"Yuuru... I know lots of bad stuff has been happening here so far. Is this something I should be made aware of, as a Hare, who's duty it is to watch for certain enemies? As it is your clan's duty to watch for hidden threats?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

"If there was something you could do I'd be more than willing to help." He said. "It's a private matter for the Unicorn. I'll respect them enough to let them take care of it, they aren't children."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

"I'd call it... incapacitating ridiculous laughter?" He smiled.

"But... yeah. I guess I understand what you mean. Even if you're wearing red and black, it doesn't change where you're from." He nodded. "And hey, I'm expecting to travel to Unicorn lands a fair bit. So if you do too, come look for me. You know where to find me." He pointed downward, indicating the hill they were standing on, his expression mock-serious.

For all the joking that seemed to give Fei an idea, a noticeable spark in her eye as it came to her. Holding out her hand to him she asked, clearly hoping for him to say no, "Are your cups special in anyway, a Family heirloom or something?"
