[Soshi Yuuru]

"If they wear purple, breathe, and aren't crazy... then they've caught my eye." He said with a chuckle.

"How about you?"

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

That made Tomonaga chuckle again. "That sounds achievable." He raised his glass again.

"But for myself... hmmm." His expression turned thoughtful. "I've met a number of interesting women. I think they all intrigued me enough that I'd like to meet them again. Hopefully this is a problem that will reduce, rather than grow, in time."

He shrugged. "Or maybe, like you, I should just be happy with any outcome. That seems like it might be the better way. And the more likely way. There's a lot of names on the announcement board."

[Soshi Yuuru]

"Mah, a man like you with the holdings your family has... you're sure to be able to have your pick of the bunch." He smiled and drank his cup.

"Me? I have many more of these incidents, like with the Otaku princess, I'll be runnin' out of options fast."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

"Mmm." A grunt and a wave of his fingers acknowledged the first part of that. "More?" He held up the bottle, ready to pour a bit more.

As for the second... "Hey, don't worry. She didn't hit you with anything. Or did she? I wasn't there." He made a show of eying the Scorpion, looking for injury. "But... I'm finding that the Unicorn seem to have rather a lot of types. If one isn't for you, well, there's still a lot more that wear purple, breathe, and aren't crazy."

He frowned for a moment, thinking over the Unicorn women he'd met, and comparing them with this Scorpion he'd been talking to. "It's hard to know ahead of time who will make a good match. At least it is for me. How do matchmakers do it?" He shook his head, bemused.

[Soshi Yuuru]

He nodded, "Maybe just one more. Can't get too drunk before the event they have later in the day."

He then smiled, "I'm guessing the nakodo don't know what they are doing most the time either. But if the goal is to make allies and have babies grow up and become strong bushi... well then, as long as both sides have the right parts they're destined to be right part of the time."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

"Good thinking. But a little will take the edge off, loosen you up. It's good." Tomonaga said, nodding confidently as he poured just a little more.

"That would really make a lot of sense." Tomonaga said, shaking his head. "I guess so long as the pair they make get along well enough that they can stand to, well, you know..." Tomonaga coughed. "And it's not like that takes all that long..." Tomonaga coughed again. "What I mean is, yeah, I think you're probably right. And let's forget that I ever said that last bit. I guess we'll see if this ranking system ends up working any better."

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru chuckled, "I didn't think a Crab would be that tender-footed about talking about sex. You're an interesting young man Yasuki-san. I doubt that Otaku princess would have run away from you."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

Tomonaga rubbed the back of his head with one hand. "Ah, I just let the idea get a little away from me. Normally I'm quite good at sex. I mean, talking about sex. Ugh." He rubbed his hand across his face. "I'm glad that you seem to be the friendly and easygoing sort, Soshi-san. Clearly, I need to be more careful drinking sake after brisk exercise."

"But thank you, I think." He looked back in the direction the Otaku had gone. "You're a fine fellow yourself, Soshi-san. You like my family's sake, for one thing." He raised his cup again, although it was now empty. "If there's anything you need, come find me." He smiled. "If it's more sake, I can help you out right away. Anything else, you might have to wait. Still, I mean it."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He smiled and nodded, "I wish I had equal resources to offer you in return."

He chuckled, "You ever need a guide for a tour around the Shinomen you hit me up."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

Tomonaga's head tilted, interested. "Oh, the Shinomen! Right, you did mention that you performed your duties there." He frowned thoughtfully for a moment. "Ummm... how does that work, if you don't mind me asking? I mean, there's the new Clan, The Piranha. And then there's the Naga..." He trailed off, uncertain.

[Soshi Yuuru]

He nodded, "I've worked with both of them yes. There's still quite a few rogue Naga, and still many bandits in those woods. The new clan is somewhat understaffed in taking care of all of that territory and so I help them get a better grasp of their woods, it's geography, and how to round up the bad guys."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

"Huh. Wow. That sounds really interesting." Tomonaga considered it for a few moments, his gaze going distant. "And challenging, too, which some people think is good." His tone was just a little uncertain there, as though he didn't know which side of the divide he fell on.

He shook his head. "Well, one thing about marrying a Unicorn, they seem like they're made of pretty tough stuff. I'll bet your wife could adapt to that sort of thing pretty easily." He frowned thoughtfully. "Or, maybe you'd end up marrying into the Unicorn. What would you think of that, eh?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled, "As long as am not tied to the yurt to raise a herd of wild Uni-babies, I think I'll manage."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

"Hah." Tomonaga chuckled as well.

Tomonaga squinted, looking up at the sun. "Well, I wish you luck, Soshi-san. And thank you for a pleasant afternoon. I stand by my earlier offer; do feel free to stop by anytime if you want another drink." With a casual bow, Tomonaga made ready to depart.
