[Iuchi Yukarin]

Yukarin chuckled, "I don't think I would want them any larger, frankly. It's already heavy enough as is."

Not that she wanted them any smaller either.

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled, "Much bigger and it'd be a torture device rather than a piece of jewelry."

He smiled as she took them back. "Really, quite beautiful... though they look better on a woman like you than just in my hands."

[Iuchi Yukarin]

They would look even better if I had big bazongas like my older sister...

Yukarin's smile didn't fade as she put them back on, "Did you have anything you keep with you that reminds you of your heritage and ancestors? Well, besides your blades of course."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He smiled and nodded. He put his hand to his hip and pulled up a mask and offered it to Yukarin.

"My family tends to wear masks when fulfilling our duties. This is the one I used, and my father, and his father before him... before they became wealthy enough to have someone craft a better one."

[Iuchi Yukarin]

Yukarin turned itover in her hands gingerly, "It does look a bit worn, hai. But it is remarkable craftsmanship all the same. Do you plan on keeping it then and passing it down, even if you have a new mask?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru nodded, "Probably. If I ever end up with a child that goes into the same line of work."

[Iuchi Yukarin]

"Only if they become a magistrate then?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

He tilted his head, "Maybe. Probably if they aren't a priest or priestess... Soshi Magistrates need a bit of a scary face when they need it. This seems to have done the trick for the past three generations."

[Iuchi Yukarin]

Yukarin did not know too much about Scorpion mask traditions, so all she could really do in response was give a small nod.

"Ah... well, I believe it is your turn to ask me whatever you want, no?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

"How about you then? Family? Brothers and sisters?" He asked with interest.

[Iuchi Yukarin]

"HMMMM..."

The sound was accompanied by a nod, as though the question was expected, "Well, my parents are both priests and historians with ancestors in the Iuchi for centuries back. I have one older sister and one older brother, twins. Both followed in my parents' footsteps as mystics. I am the young one and the odd pony of the family~"

[Soshi Yuuru]

He nodded, "You mentioned a bit of that last night. So we're both from families of 5. Hmmm, bunch of priests all around us too. Sounds like we have some stuff in common."

He smiled warmly, "So... you looking to stay in the Iuchi? Or do you not mind leaving?"

[Iuchi Yukarin]

"Things in common, hai. I wonder if my flexibility in leaving my Family behind is one of those ways?"

Yukarin took out a bottle of cool tea and poured herself some, "After all, I want my marriage to be to my Clan's benefit, and my older siblings have my ancestors' legacy well in hand already..."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He smiled, "It sounds as if we have quite a bit in common."

He chuckled, "So... I guess the question is would I look better in purple or you in red?"

[Iuchi Yukarin]

A blush tinted Yukarin's cheeks, "I-Is that really an important question? I would think others would be more important..."
