The orochi roars in pain as Chi-Pu and her horse slam into it, its serpentine head whipping around to face this new threat.

Taira just advanced forward, covering for Chi-pu as he drew close. She had gotten the attention of the snake.

He couldn't reach the Mantis yet, and his eyes said she wasn't yet dead. The only answer was to try and keep them all alive... he would tend to wounds as soon as he could reach them.

Yuzuki experienced pain. Yuzuki experienced anger. Mostly though, she experienced confusion. Why did the giant monster snake thing hate her so much? Well, she'd tried being nice, so now she tried being not nice.

She shouted, and put the full force of her katana down on the creature.

As the meddlesome samurai swarm around the woman who had wounded it, the orochi rears up in anger, the lightning flashing overhead as rain pelts the battlefield. In a single, smooth motion, it lunges... at Liu Yue!

In the blink of an eye, it brings its jaws down on the warrior-princess, savaging her greatly and tearing away huge chunks of flesh. Were it not for her stirrups, she would have been pulled completely into the air and devoured!

The orochi attacking full out is gruesome, and Udo does not feel great about their chances. Seeing the Unicorn swallowed, he knows he has no choice. He slaps his right arm and drops into a full attack stance, hoping he can do something about the massive beast.

Udo moves to punch the creature, putting all of his efforts into it... but doesn't feel it connected firmly.

When the lightning flashed and the Orochi struck, Chi-Pu gave a nod of approval to see her Shinjo counsin still up and ready to fight.

Her great warhorse circles around in a quick, tight circle, and again leaps onto the serpents back, hooves digging into scales.

Chi-Pu sets her arm and allows the momentum of Tianma to carry her strike, wind and rain pelting her eyes making it hard to see. Steel meets scale. The impact is heavy.

Again, Tianma leaps off of the back of the serpent, ready to gather momentum and run it over again.

'Hiroji saw the dragon lunge for Yue, and knowing that the Otaku was for now without need for defence, hefted his masakari, and brought it down with all his force upon the scaly torso of the dragon.
