Another Day, Another Drink [Day 8 EM]

"If there was something you could do I'd be more than willing to help." He said. "It's a private matter for the Unicorn. I'll respect them enough to let them take care of it, they aren't children."

"I never said they were, but I have... advised them on a few matters already, regarding the Enemy. Such as wearing jade for protection, or not give blood to spirits asking for it. Things you and I know are sound and sensible things from since we were young, but they could not have learned during their time away."

He nodded, "From what I hear the threat has abated anyway."

"That is... somewhat good news, I guess." Please don't tell me this has anything to do with the netsuke and Khulun's questions about the Onyx Champion...

"... Still, with the Soshi and the Hare so close to the Unicorn, our Families might have a lot of work ahead of them, in regards to the Unicorn's lack of knowledge on these things."

He nodded, "I sent a message to my mother concerning the issue. I think we have some real room to do some good here."

Tomoe nodded as well. "Hai... I think I will certainly find a place among the Unicorn if I marry in. A teacher might just be what they need the most these days."

He nodded, "You'd fit in perfectly I'd think. Except the whole... scary barbarian thing some of them have going for them."

"Guess that's why I need to learn to throw them into the floor when they misbehave," she smirked. "As long as some of them aren't going to try and 'kidnap' me. I was told the other day that's supposedly an old Moto tradition, to steal their bride, throw them over the horse and ride off to... consumate the relationship." She blushed a little as she spoke of it.

He chuckled, "Sounds like fun if you like the guy."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

For all the joking that seemed to give Fei an idea, a noticeable spark in her eye as it came to her. Holding out her hand to him she asked, clearly hoping for him to say no, "Are your cups special in anyway, a Family heirloom or something?"

Looking down at the cups, Tomonaga blinked, confused. "Well, no. I mean, I've had this one for a while." He said, lifting his cup. "I'm comfortable with it. But it's just a cup." He gave her a curious glance.

"When this is all over, meet me back here. Last day. Alright?" she said, holding her plan close. There was a slight deviousness to her smile that betrayed how much she enjoyed her idea.

[Usagi Tomoe]

He chuckled, "Sounds like fun if you like the guy."

"I've not yet met a man of the Moto I would want to do that to me," she huffed. "They all seem horribly... dumb."

"Chibi-Usa is smarter even than the ones I've met, and she's a puppy," Tomoe gestured to the pups playing with eachother, and as if on cue, Chibi-Usa seemed to yip in agreement.

He chuckled, "I had a conversation with Moto Khulun last night... She seemed smart enough. Though a bit rough around the edges."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"She's rough around the edges," Tomoe agreed, "but she means well, most of the time. Just... just speak plainly with her, and she'll be very accomodating, I've found."

"Though I wouldn't try myself with her if I were you... she has her eyes on Matsu Nintoku."

He chuckled, "Like I said... I don't think I'll end up having much say... If it was her I wouldn't mind too much I suppose. There are very few I would mind."

"Any of the women you would vehemently object to?" she asked curiously.
