Even at this late point in the Miai, Monkhbaatar had not settled his mind into a possible future. It was not necessarily going to be up to him and he was not going to start planning his life around something that may not come to pass. So instead, he used the time before the next test in order to speak with the fortunes at the shrine, sitting there and talking at a conversational volume to the shrine and idols.

"Such an important event and there's no way of knowing specifically how it will turn out. I'll definitely be letting my parents know not to support the idea of a miai in the future. It's been interesting but it's so damned reserved limits how much you can share of yourself without being a jerk. Definitely not ideal."

He takes a sip of kumis from the sack at his side.
