(D6 LE Open) - A Prayer for the Future

[Togashi Udo]

"Well, certainly the most upsetting thing so far has been the food. Though it has not affected me particularly, many were sickened by it."

[Miya Mei]

Mei tilts her head to the side.

"Food?"

[Togashi Udo]

"Yes. The food. Meats and milks and things. To be honest, it passed quickly. Some Unicorn became sick as well, I believe from the shrimp?"

[Miya Mei]

"Hmm. This could prove troublesome. Faith deems those foods unsuitable to eat. If an entire clan goes against this..."

[Togashi Udo]

"It is only a molehill, Miya-sama."

He better change the subject... "Did you take part in today's contest?"

[Miya Mei]

"Not to many, Togashi-san. Faith is what runs the Empire, for good or bad."

She waves a hand

"But that can be a discussion later. I am sure all of the courtiers have already written letters home depicting slights and attrocities. As far as the competition, yes I did."

[Togashi Udo]

"Hm."

Udo closes his eyes for a few moments before replying. "It seems some care has been taken to ensure that all the Clans have a good chance to win."

[Miya Mei]

"I cannot reasonably comment, as I only have been here for the two Otaku events. Poetry and warfan dancing do seem a good mix of skills a Lion and Crane would have. Todays event though was wholey unique. I do not know any who practice this lancing art."

[Togashi Udo]

"Well, you do now." Udo said matter-of-factly.

"And, we shall see what tomorrow shall bring, as well."

[Miya Mei]

"Yes, we shall. Iuchi and Moto are left. I know little about either families. The Iuchi are priests, are they not?"

[Togashi Udo]

"I met a priest that is an Iuchi. I also met an Iuchi that was not a priest. I think they are probably many things," Udo says with a conspicuously straight face.

[Miya Mei]

"That is true, much like I do not hold the training from my namesake. Though in general, I take it the Iuchi are the spiritual family of the Unicorn. I wonder how their theology differs from ours"

[Togashi Udo]

"In the few conversations I've had about it, it seems they are quite similar, but just have more."

[Miya Mei]

Mei shrugs

"Ill let the Phoenix sort that sort of thing out. In any case, since you have spoken to many, has any woman caught your eye?"

[Togashi Udo]

"At the moment, the only woman I see is you." Udo tries to keep a straight face, but starts to chuckle after a moment.

"There are many that are interesting. I fear three more days won't be enough to make a wise decision. I shall go with my gut, if all else fails."
