[Ide Amaya]

"Well, it was Butaj-san's singing that I must credit for guiding me to my husband. But do promise me something, Tomonaga-sama."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

"Ah, well, fair enough then." His expression turned serious. "Of course, Amaya-san. Anything." He nodded. "What is it?"

[Ide Amaya]

Shaking her head softly, "don't name your children after a cat."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

That was not what he expected. Tomonaga threw his head back, laughing openly, his face lighting up.

After a few long moments of that, he bowed, still grinning. "Very well, Amaya-san. I promise that my first child will not be named Yasuki Fluffy. But only because you asked."

[Ide Amaya]

She laughs, and it ends on a wistful note. With a smile and a sigh, "I should leave you to your prayers. No doubt your future wife is waiting on you. I would not like to think it was my fault you were delayed."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

Reminded, Tomonaga once again fails to suppress a grin. "Yeah, you're probably right." He is silent for a moment before bowing. "Take care of yourself, Amaya-san. And I look forward to our next meeting, even if it's not for a while."

[Ide Amaya]

She quashes the twist of jealousy that pricks at her when he grins, and bows deeply. "Take care, and may the Fortunes always look upon you with favour."

[Yasuki Tomonaga]

The look he returned her was slightly curious. "I've been feeling lately that they will, Amaya-san. And that they will for you as well."

With one last bow, he moved over to take his own position in front of the shrine, kneeling down, no doubt ready to begin his own devotions.

[Ide Amaya]

With a last smile and lingering look in his direction, she leaves Tomonaga's company, she hopes not for the final time.

A few moments into his devotions, Tomonaga hesitated. His head turned, and he watched as Amaya walked away, a hint of a smile on his lips. Finally, he turned back to the shrine. After all, he had a lot to be grateful for.
