[Yogo Yuichi]

Yuichi went to the lonely shrine of the Emerald Champion to find some solitude and try to commune with the kami around him. He was a priest of the kami after all.

He was utterly disappointed that the only shrine of the village was dedicated to the 'haughty' Kakita and not to proper Kami. But there was no other place to pray around here so...

In any case, he sat in seiza and made a bow in the direction of the Torii arch. He put some incense sticks inside a small brazier he was carrying, and he lit the incense.

The ground started to shake around Yuichi and for a moment he was distracted from his prayer.

''Not now...go to sleep...'' He said to someone, although there was no one in the surroundings. After that the sudden ground movement stopped.

Yuichi continued with his prayer. He grabs something small and round in his hand and suddenly this small object began to brigthly shine. Yuichi's eyes also started to shine as the prayers to the kami were correctly muttered. With a loud sound and light, Yuichi was enveloped by a shroud of bright flames. It would seem like he suddenly was caught on fire and was burning, but he was unharmed inside the magical flames.

He continued his prayer, getting into deeper and deeper understanding with the fire kami around him. He lifted one of his hands and all the magical flames that were surrounding him went towards his fingers, concentrating themselves into his hand. There, they took the form of a magical kanji made out of pure fire. Yuichi took out a paper with his other hand and inscribed the magical kanji into a Yogo paper ward.

The paper brightly shines as the ward was successfully created, then the night's darkness returned as the fire kami went to sleep inside the ward.

After that, Yuichi once again entered into a deep meditation trying to enter into harmony with the earth kami all around him. He started muttering the incantations but his concentration failed at the last moment. He felt nausated an had to take his time to recover. The elemental imbalance took it toll on his body.

He tried once again, begging for the power to the earth kami. The pearl of purity in his hand started to brightly shine, his voice echoed as the kami answered to his prayer. He could feel the endurance of the earth kami embracing him.

As the previous ward, Yuichi extended one of his hands and concentrated the entire magical power of the kami in it. There, the kami turned into a bright kanji in the form of the word 'Earth'. Yuichi with his other hand grabbed another paper ward and inscribed it with the power of the earth kami creating a second magical ward.

After creating the earth ward successfully, the Scorpion tried with the element of water. He tried to enter into resonance with the water kami but after casting three times in a row, he was tired and could not manage to convince the water kami to give him the power. Once again, he felt nauseated and started to cough intensely.

He did not try to cast this spell again.
