Pleas of the Heart to a Yogo (Day 7, LM, Mizuki's Room)

[Yogo Mizuki]

So, now she's acting like a nakado? Mizuki was getting annoyed again. "I oversee trade deals for my Clan. I have thought about how Butaj-san would fit into the Clan. There are many duties that I think would fit him and make him happy. I would not make him follow me to court after court playing the perfect courtier if that's what you fear." Mizuki ignores the second part of the question. She was trying out for her apparent rival.

"Asako-san, please understand. I will do my best to make my husband happy. Despite my parents being Yogos, they are very happily married. Even despite the Curse. That's what I want and what I intend to work for."

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki was quiet, chewing on her lower lip in a poor display of her control. Realizing this, the Phoenix paused and took a few breaths to calm herself as her sensei had showed her to do. Yuki, who barely had a mean bone in her body, had never thought to set herself up as a rival. "Hai, of course. As anyone would."

She paused for a moment. "I am sorry for taking up Yogo-sama's time. I should go."

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki nods. "As you wish." She bows to the Phoenix.

[Asako Yuki]

Getting up, the rice and tea completely forgotten, Yuki bows one last time to Mizuki. She opens her mouth for a moment, but decides that anything she says will only further end up with her foot in her mouth, and quietly leaves.
