Yuki stood quietly at the corner of two intersecting streets. The Phoenix quietly hummed to herself something that she'd heard during her time here with a small smile while she waited for her guest of the hour. She still looked fairly plain, but Yuki rarely spent too much time with makeup on most days anyway.

Blinking a bit to try and shake free some of the catchier of the songs previously sung, Hanashi walks along the streets of Dark Edge, contemplative.

Yuki almost missed Hanashi, caught up in one of the songs as she approached him. "Ohayou, Shinjo-san." She approached, bowing to him. "I'm glad you agreed to meet with me again."

A brief bow from the waist. "An honor to be asked, Asako-san. Your song was a pleasant one today; not everyone seemed...well versed, so to speak."

Yuki smiled. "Arigato. Your performance was fantastic, Shinjo-san." She paused and sighed a little at the mention of the less than thrilling performances, including some of the Unicorn. "Tell me, have you met with Tonbo-sama often? Or did she simply catch your eye?"

He shakes his head, "Truly there are none I could declare love for, but the Moto insisted it be a love song. It is...unfortunate a number of other events have not allowed Tonbo-sama to compete; something I did not expect with our Champion having the same affliction."

Yuki paused at that. "Perhaps, but I think that many aspects of our culture do not take into account those who may be disadvantaged in sight. It is little surprise that many wouldn't think of it."

A brief nod. "True. I'll have to start the run of Shinjo-sama's heroics again, remind them all. She got us through some tight places on the Ride."

Yuki frowned a little at that. "Wouldn't that make our hosts look bad, Shinjo-san? Since it was your clan that set up the events?"

A shake of his head; "It'll be awhile before I can start; the miai will be over. Takes some time to place a story in correct order." A tap of his head, "If I could live through it, there's more then a year's worth of stories in here, retold one after another without break. Have to sort through memories before the telling of a tale as important as those of our Champions."

Yuki nodded at that. "A grand telling of the Ride through the Dark Lands, then? That would be quite an epic tale." She paused. "Would it be just your memories, or the memories of others that lived through it as well?"

A nod at the question. "I do what research I can. Most of it is others memories, siphoned through what words I can come up with to make the tale memorable."

Yuki nodded. "I know that oral traditions seem quite important to the Unicorn, but would you object to the story being written down, once you complete it?" She asked with curiosity.

There's a slight twitch below his eyepatch. "Dutifully, no."

"My calligraphy is pretty horrible though. Not a lot of space for writing on the back of a horse."

Yuki nodded and smiled warmly to the man. "I'm certain it would be easy enough to find an Asako Scholar who would be more than happy to write it down for you."
