The Moshi sat in seiza trying her best to apeace the Yodotai in her gut. The tiny woman hoped that not many would come today thanks to the heat wave that is coming in. She liked the heat but not that much. The woman waited for her clients to arrive.

Amaya is passing by, waving her fan slowly, her hair has been pulled up into a Maiden's Tail, but sweat still dampens the nape of her neck. The kimono was light, summer silk, but still she missed the thin, flowing desert garments that would have been deemed completely unsuitable by the Rokugani natives, but were notably more comfortable.

She noticed the divination booth, and drifts closer, curious. She studies the Clan mon the woman wears, but doesn't recognise it.

The Moshi looked up at the casted shadow by the girl. "Blessings of the Lady Amaterasu are with you." The Moshi smiled.

"Greetings. This one is Ide Amaya, and behalf of my Clan and my family, welcome." She bows politely. "Would you perhaps be a fortune teller?" she asks, casting an eye over the tools of divination that have been laid out.

"I have not. I have seen fortune tellers of many strange types, but my mother would always say that the Fortunes had been kind to me in my life and it would be unseemly to bother them over such trivialities. But my mother is not here, and if my destiny is to be decided at this ma-ai, then perhaps the Fortunes might be generous enough to grant me some guidance."

Word of the fortune teller had begun to spread, and Suki had always possessed a good ear for such things. With some asking around and wandering, she found her way to the divination booth, getting the lay of the land as she traveled.

Finding the Moshi with a customer, Suki hung back. Busying herself with exploring the surrounding area, the monk cast an occasional glance in the direction of the minor clan fortuneteller.

"Oh but is not a triviality when it comes to have a bit of insight of what the fortunes have in store for you." She smiled. "I use sticks and coins two of the traditional ones." The Moshi explained.

"Indeed, and may they show me kindness." She studies the coins and sticks a moment, but only a moment, for she believes that if she thinks about choosing, the Fortunes will not be able to guide her hand. "The sticks, please."

She took out the box and opened it. "Choose a stick."

Amaya closes her eyes and reaches for the box, taking the first stick that her fingers touch. Opening her eyes, she peers quizzically at her choice.

"Ohayo, Phoenix-sama," Suki bowed respectfully. "The day has already been a busy one, but pleasant all the same. And yours? Have you had rice today?"

"Hai," he nodded. "I am Isawa Nonin, a shugenja of the Phoenix, as you rightly observed. How are you finding the ways of our returned bretherin?"

"Intriguing," she answers, smiling faintly. "We will see how they adapt to being back within the Empire's borders."

"This one is Suki," she added, introducing herself, bowing respectfully. "Monk of the Temple of Benten in Mamoru Kyotei Toshi."
