Kogo walked towards the stables, Noburu for once not in tow. Though the steeds of the Unicorn seemed to react well enough to her, there were supposed to be other animals here that might not. And that would get in the way of her making the acquaintance of some of the lovely animals and their keepers. She arrived at the front of the stables, wondering what the protocol were on visiting a stable with how the Unicorn felt about their horses.

There was a Unicorn present, bearing a Shinjo mon. He was currently brushing the coat of a large white horse.

She saw the Shinjo brushing his horses coat and ventured to come closer. "Ohayo gozaimasu Shinjo-san. Have you had rice this morning?"

He looked up, taking a moment to study her mon.

"Ohayo gozaimasu, Matsu-sama. I have not, actually. Sarangerel and I just returned from our morning ride." He offered a respectful bow. "I am Shinjo Kemuri."

She bows in return. "It sounds like a good way to start the day. This one is Matsu Kogo."

She replies, "I have not as of yet. I have just finished a sparring match at the Dojo and was walking to return to the Yurts. It is also a good way to start the day. " She says, smiling.

"Well, the setting may not be ideal for a meal." he looked around. "But, I have some onigiri, if you'd like."

She nods. "I would be honored to share with you, Shinjo-sama. And though it might not satisfy some, I find I am practical enough that what I require is good food and company, not fancy table settings."

"Then we are of like minds." he nodded.

Setting the brush down, he moved to a nearby satchel and withdrew a bundle. Unwrapping it revealed a half-dozen riceballs.

He presented them to the Lion with a smile. "Good food and good company."

She smiled and took one. "Itedakimasu!" She took a bite and chewed, smiling as she enjoyed the taste.

"Itedakimasu!" he grinned, as he bit into one himself. After a few moments to swallow, he asked, "What brings you here, Matsu-sama? Other than breakfast."

She ducked her head for a moment, focusing on breakfast. "I wanted to see how more of the horses I have already met in the last few days. I will admit to a certain fascination with them."

"This is certainly the place." he nodded. "Sarangerel Will be happy to meet you."

He motioned to the white stallion he had been brushing, before taking another bite.

She perks up just a bit. "I would be honored if you would introduce me to your steed."
