"Kemuri bears the same name as one of children of Lady Shinjo, a powerful name. Butaj thinks it is for a reason, and he knows what was in her mind, heart and soul, and how and why her laws came about to guide us." He pauses. "Butaj was trained by the Shinjo. We are all good warriors and riders."

She very carefully doesn't frown. "Ah, so, Shinjo Kemuri-san is a bushi?"

"All of Unicorn men in this pairing kurultai are warriors. Except Iuchi Dong-Ha. He knows those arcane things of the Sands Butaj has little idea about. Maybe he can tell Seppun Hitako how to feed your jinn?"

Butaj nods. "Butaj can't be of much help in that, it looks. Seppun Hitako can talk to Iuchi Batul or Iuchi Saksaha too." Butaj finishes grooming Huludai and pats him. "Time for his ride."

"Oh? They are trained in Spiritual matters, as well?"

[Moto Butaj]

"They are, especially Saksaha. Little Batul is still very young." Butaj nods as he opens the box for Huludai to step out.

[Seppun Hitako]

"Are they also participants in this miai? I don't recall those names from the events so far, but I haven't paid attention to all."

[Moto Butaj]

"They are." Butaj confirms with a nod.

[Seppun Hitako]

"And what do you know of their training in Spiritual matters, if I might ask?"

[Moto Butaj]

"What they do is very mysterious to Butaj. They carry powerful magical amulets, and they protected us during the long ride here with them. That's pretty much what Butaj knows. Butaj hasn't seen too much how their magic or any other magic works. It is what it is."
