(D4 LA) Horses are Simpler than People

"She deserves such a feast," Yue stated with a smile, "She has been good to all of my students." She meant that even for Taira. She would never admit it but it was his fault for falling off her.

"A noble and well-trained companion then," Suki nodded, her tone suggesting she'd figured as much. The Unicorn may've only recently returned, but the reputation of their steeds had spread far and wide. "The only horse we've had at the temple was an old, ornery Rokugan pony that assisted in work we monks couldn't do on our own. Having spent time with it makes being up close to a Unicorn steed all the more impressive."

The Shinjo nodded. "I have heard that our steeds are impressive compared to the Rokugani pony." She cupped her chin and looked across the stables. "Suki-san, do you know why they are different?" She asked this genuinely; she had no idea why the two breeds were so distinct.
